Fine watchmaking paired with latest wearable technology
Embracing the future has always been at the heart of Montblanc’s ethos, one of the first luxury Maisons to have ventured into the field of connected devices, successfully combining traditional Swiss watchmaking with cutting-edge technology. With the TimeWalker Urban Speed UTC e-Strap watch, Montblanc explores the latest wearable technology by pairing a watchstrap that connects to the owner’s smartphone, with a fine timepiece driven by an automatic calibre. The result is a mechanical timepiece enhanced with digital functionalities.

A Timepiece for Travellers
With its dynamic design characterized by its skeletonized horns and thin bezel, the TimeWalker collection effortlessly blends modernity and tradition. The contemporary aesthetics of the TimeWalker UTC 42 mm stainless steel case is reinforced by the use of a deep black surface treatment known by the initials DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon), with its main characteristic being to deliver superior resistance to abrasion.
This dark, durable colouring is also found on the dial, which features an embossed area surrounded by an extremely thin circular line that also serves to reveal different shades of black. Amid this succession of dark tones, both the direct-drive seconds hand and the tip of the hour hand in the second time-zone display stand out in bright red to emphasize the sporty character of this timepiece. Every design detail reflects the needs of urban users, particularly busy executives travelling overseas.
This efficient and particularly readable timepiece is powered by the mechanical self-winding calibre MB 24.05. It has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and its high-quality finishes can be observed through the watch’s transparent case back.
