The Glenlivet is proud to present a stunning Drinks Trolley and Dram Tray, hand-crafted by award-winning designer Sebastian Cox, and inspired by our new expression, The Glenlivet Nàdurra Peated Whisky Cask Finish.
Collaborating with The Glenlivet, modern designer-craftsman Sebastian Cox has used his signature inventive approach to working with wood to create The Glenlivet Nàdurra Drinks Trolley, inspired by 19th Century processes and materials intrinsic to the Nàdurra range. Working with exceptional materials such as oak staves from retired casks and leather oak-tanned by hand, The Glenlivet Nàdurra Drinks Trolley was inspired by the traditional Malt Barrow originally used in the distillery to turn and transport malt to imaginatively capture the spirit of Nàdurra (meaning “natural” in Gaelic). Watch as Cox explains how he has created a truly spectacular item that will serve as a beautiful, yet functional piece of design that brings the multi-sensory Nàdurra range to life.
The Nàdurra trolley will be on display for a short time in the New Craftsmen’s Mayfair store and then sent to The Glenlivet Distillery in Scotland. If you want one for yourself, you have to register to be a Guardian of The Glenlivet. A limited number of made-to-order trolleys will be available to members only for £4,200 (around $6,500). Members can also purchase the Dram Tray for £120 ($185) from The New Craftsmen.
